Cash rewards for tipsters on ‘unqualified’ beneficiaries, one way to clean 4Ps list - DSWD
As part of its commitment to clean the list of beneficiaries of various programs and services, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is set to implement a reward scheme for those who can report unqualified families and individuals benefiting from the government’s aid. In an earlier statement, Secretary Erwin T. Tulfo announced that the Department will give a Php 1,000 cash reward for tipsters as a way to achieve the directive of the current administration on the cleansing of its poverty reduction measures, particularly the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps. The Department said that it is now finalizing the mechanisms for the provision of the cash reward for those individuals who will give information on supposedly undeserving and ineligible 4Ps beneficiaries.
